What we do with your details.
Short version: you give us a name, a phone number and a postcode so we can ring you back with a price. We use it for that. We don't sell it, we don't build a marketing list out of it, and this site doesn't set a single cookie.
Who we are

What it collects without asking you
We'd rather tell you than have you find it in the page source:
- Which page you were on
- Which site sent you here
- Your screen size
That's it. It tells us whether people find us through Google, through ChatGPT, or by typing the address, and whether the page worked on a phone. It is not tied to you as a person and we don't use it to profile anyone. No IP address. No location tracking. No advertising identifiers.
Cookies: there aren't any
This site sets no cookies. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no advertising tags, no session tracking, nothing in local storage.
That's why there's no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes we'll put it here first, and you'll get a real choice rather than a pre-ticked box.
Where it goes
The form is handled by Formspree, which passes it to our email. Formspree is based in the United States, so your details leave the UK. They act as our processor and are bound by contract to handle it only on our instructions. Their own privacy terms are at formspree.io.
If that bothers you, and it's a reasonable thing to mind, just ring 0161 394 2625 instead. A phone call sends nothing to anybody.
Why we're allowed to hold it
You filled in a form asking for a price. Acting on that is what the law calls taking steps at your request before entering a contract. If you become a customer we keep the job record because we have to: 12-month warranty, and HMRC wants invoices kept.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry, no job: 12 months
- Completed job: 6 years (HMRC)
- Ask us to delete: we do, unless HMRC says otherwise
What we never do
We don't sell your details. We don't pass them to lead-generation companies. We don't add you to a mailing list because you once got locked out. We don't send marketing texts. You will not hear from us again after the job unless you ring us.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email or ring and we'll do it, the law gives us a month, but it's a locksmith's inbox, not a bank's, so it'll be quicker.
If we handle it badly, complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113. You don't have to go through us first.
Changes
If we change this we'll change the date at the top. We won't quietly start tracking you and hope you don't reread it.
Questions people actually ask
Do you use cookies on this website?
No. This site sets no cookies at all: no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session tracking, nothing stored in your browser. That is why there is no cookie banner asking you to accept anything. There is genuinely nothing to consent to. If we ever add analytics or a chat widget we will say so on this page before it goes live.
Will you sell my phone number or add me to a marketing list?
No. Your number is used to ring you back about the job you asked about, and nothing else. We do not sell details, we do not pass them to lead-generation companies, and we do not add people to mailing lists because they once got locked out. After the job is done you will not hear from us again unless you ring us.
Where does my information go when I submit the form?
The form is handled by Formspree, which forwards it to our email inbox. Formspree is a US company, so your name, phone number and postcode do leave the UK. They process it only on our instructions under a contract. If that is not something you are comfortable with, ring 0161 394 2625 instead. A phone call sends your details to nobody but us.
How do I get my data deleted?
Email info@locksmithmanchester24h.co.uk or ring 0161 394 2625 and say so. We will delete it. The one exception is if you have had work done and paid for it, because HMRC requires invoices to be kept for six years. In that case we keep the invoice and delete everything else. You do not need to give a reason and there is no form to fill in.
